Questionaire...

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper. It's more time consuming, but what kid doesn't love ripping the paper off of a gift?? And if we're all honest, as adults, we love it too.

2. Real tree or Artificial? This is the first year we got a real one.

3. When do you put up the tree? As soon after Thanksgiving as I can.

4. When do you take the tree down? Usually just after New Years.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yuck. No.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Honestly not sure. Maybe my cabbage patch kid? I loved that thing.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, but no where to set it up out of M's reach this year.

8. Hardest person to buy for? Probably my grandparents. They usually don't 'need' anything and I run out of ideas to use over the years.

9. Easiest person to buy for? M and my mom. M - I know what she wants, and my mom always just tells me - so awesome!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Hmm, probably clothes that I dislike/will never wear.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Either the old school grinch or Rudolph (the old clay-mation).

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually December.

14. Ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My mom's ham, my mom's hashbrown casserole, or my mom's pumpkin bread. Mmmm...

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? COLORED!

17. Favorite Christmas Song? O Holy Night, by Josh Groban.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home. I want M's childhood tradition to be at her own home every year.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? If I sing the song, probably. (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer).

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star. They are cheaper....sadly...

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Right now, it's everything on Christmas morning. But when M gets old enough to want to, we'll do ONE (that mom and dad pick out) to open the night of Christmas Eve.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? How superficial people make it.

23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color? My ornaments are all ones that my aunt gave me every year since I was born. I cherish them a lot and have started the same tradition for M.

24. What do you want for Christmas this year? Peace. Of the inner variety.
