Randoms

1. I started going to a new (women's) Bible study and I LOVE it. We did this before (it was a Beth Moore), but it ended up being more of a social gathering than anything. I mean, I learned a ton from the study, but I was really desiring a deeper relationship with some Godly women...that didn't happen. We have met twice with this one, and already so much opening up has happened and I really feel that I can learn so much from these ladies. I am so excited about it! And the study is going to be very beneficial as well - the material is definitely needed in my life right now.

It's funny how God delivers exactly what you need when you ask for it. Ask, and you shall receive - crazy that we have a hard time asking!

2. There is a dog that is barking right now, getting on my nerves because it's always barking and M is trying to nap. Grrr... seriously - where are the owner's??

3. M had her 18 month check-up over a week ago (2-11). She was 19 lbs 13 oz, 31 inches long. She has close to 40 words that she uses on a regular basis/consistently says on command. She adds a few more everyday it seems! We definitely hit her vocab explosion between 17 and 18 months. I am amazed at how much she understands as well. I can say just about anything simply to her and she knows what I'm saying. :)

4. I can't believe how big my little girl is. From all of the words and comprehension to feeding herself more to potty training...it's clear to me that my "little" baby girl is no longer a baby! I LOVE watching her grow and learn, and I don't want her to stay a baby *forever*, but sheesh, can she stay little just a bit longer??! It truly flies. You hear people say that all of the time, but you just don't get it till your less than 5 lb bundle of joy is running around the house, and your heart is tweaked with the bittersweet pain of knowing that your baby is growing up and you can't slow it down. Can't believe she'll be 2 so soon!!

5. Back to the 18-month check-up, they are unhappy with her weight this time. She's down to the 3rd percentile on their stupid charts. I really am not a fan of my pediatrician. Not a whole lot of common sense in that office, ever since the wonderful woman who was M's pedi left. :( Thank goodness, at 2, she can go to my wonderful dr. Looking forward to that.

6. M's got a fever. Started yesterday, and she's still got it today. No other symptoms, so it's a bit odd. Hoping it stays that way and it's just more molars or something.

7. M's birth was so traumatic...I know that it's the cause for a lot of why I need to be on an anti-depressant/anti-anxiety drug right now. So I need to go to a therapist and work through this PTSD diagnosis. Picking up the phone when your schedule is already full of appointments and classes and meetings....is hard though.

8. I had an 8, but I don't remember what it was now. So I guess that's it. Happy weekend, all! :)
