Vent...

Most of these are going to be vents or rants, but oh well. I don't feel like making up a more entertaining title.

I am getting so sick of selfish people when it comes to kids/babies. IT'S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT, it's about bringing a child into the best possible life that you can. For example: My cousin's wife is pregnant with her 4th. She currently does not take care of the other three, but she wanted a boy by my cousin (her oldest is a boy, and she has 2 girls with my cousin). So she got her boy. He is expected to arrive at the end of January. Her selfishness has brought another child into the world that will be raised by my aunt like the rest of them. Another child that will most likely become a troubled teen b/c mommy and daddy never gave a crap about him. They can't afford another one, and honestly DFCS should've been called in a long time ago. My poor aunt is run ragged trying to give these kids the best life she can because she knows how screwed up their mom's actions could potentially make them.

There are other people around me that are being selfish in this way too. And I'm just sick of it. Children are more important than your selfish wants. You want a baby right now but are REALLY screwed up yourself or REALLY not financially/emotionally ready for it? THEN SORRY, but you shouldn't be trying!!! Put your future children first and wait... or in the case of my cousin's wife, STOP altogether.

I just have such a heart for kids and can't stand to see so many people around me putting their selfish wants above what would be best for their future children/families. I guess nowadays it is all about "ME" though, huh? Poor kids. I wish I could adopt them all.
